The objective of Lawcover’s Practice Support Services is to reduce the chances of claims-prone situations arising and improve the way solicitors handle such situations when they arise. We promote the message that all legal practitioners should establish systematic practice management strategies which will reduce their exposure to clients’ complaints and professional negligence claims.
This is achieved through the delivery of presentations and workshops in risk management education and by regularly publishing journal articles about the claims made against solicitors, their outcomes and the lessons to be learnt from them.
We encourage practitioners to assess how they can improve their communication and general business management skills to enhance the quality of legal services delivered to their clients and the profitability of their clients.
We provide a variety of opportunities for members of the profession to share ideas, information and quality time with each other to help break down the sense of isolation and anxiety which is increasingly experienced by many solicitors in small law practices.
