Overview
Lawcover is the single provider of approved professional indemnity insurance policies to law practices based solely in NSW. It also insures law practices in the ACT, NT and many national law firms which have a presence in NSW. With almost 19,000 lawyers insured, Lawcover has and will always be there when needed. We provide professional indemnity insurance up to $2 million for each claim and, on application, can provide additional Top Up insurance up to $20 million.
Lawcover provides approved professional indemnity insurance policies to law practices in NSW, the ACT and NT.
Claims
Notify Lawcover of facts or circumstances that could lead to a claim. Early notification allows for early intervention which, in our experience, results in an earlier and more cost-effective resolution.
About Practice Support Services
The objective of Lawcover’s Practice Support Services is to reduce the chances of claims-prone situations arising and improve the way solicitors handle such situations when they arise.
Lawcover’s policy requires immediate written notice to be given by the law practice of any claim or circumstance which may give rise to a claim.
